Hey Loves,
Firstly I would Thank everyone who appreciated and praised my first blog and raised my courage & confidence level really high. I am really happy that you all took time and read my first blog.
I will try my level best to keep up the expectations and try harder each & every time.
So for my second blog, I thought of explaining a little about What Rabari is and its origin.
WHAT IS RABARI AND ITS ORIGIN?
Rabari is the indigenous tribe that lives in the North-West Region of India. The exact origin of the Rabari people is unknown. It is most likely that they migrated to India from Iran via Afghanistan through Baluchistan around a thousand year ago, although this has been disputed by some experts, who propose a stronger relationship with the Rajputs of Rajasthan.
The Rabari are known for their distinctive art, particularly the mirrored and whitewashed mud sculpture-work that adorns their homes and villages. The women are most renowned for their detailed embroidery and beadwork. Rabari are one of the most photographed minorities in India because of their striking dress and jewellery, vibrant embroidery work and beautifully geometric house decoration.

MY INFUSION WITH RABARI
For this Rabari inspired look, I chose to wear a Deep Blue white-embroidery mirror work top. Paired with Bandhani Print Pink Afghanis (I am a Bandhani Obsessed :D ).
To add a little quirk and more of Rabari style I wore Silver Tribe Neck-piece and a Silver embedded bracelet with that I am carrying a Jaipuri Tote Bag.
And for the footwears i chose to wear Kolhapuri Chappals to complete the look.
Hope you guys like the post. Also, if you ever recreate this Rabari-inspired look don't forget to tag me in your pictures using: #THERABARI.
